ACCREDITATION AND CERTIFICATIONS

Scope of Accreditation:

• Explosion-protected electrical equipment – Overhaul and maintenance inspection of Electrical equipment for use in hazardous atmospheres including Pre-overhaul inspection, Assessment and Overhaul on:
• Equipment installed within flameproof (Ex d) enclosures;
• Equipment installed within increased safety (Ex e) enclosures;
• Flameproof (Ex d) enclosures;
• Flameproof (Ex d) motors;
• Increased safety (Ex e) enclosures.
• Limited to Group I and II equipment for use in hazardous atmospheres
• Limited to alternators up to and including 800 watts
• Limited to flameproof enclosures
• Limited to increased safety enclosures rated up to 11 kV

Scope of Supply

Design and manufacture of new underground mining equipment. The provision of mechanical and electrical servicing, repair, overhaul, and modification of mining vehicles  and power-tram units and also the hire of mining vehicles
